Hill View is a lively Community Centre owned by Metropolitan Housing Trust Midlands, based in the heart of St Anns in Nottingham.

The centre boasts facilities for the whole family with a newly built crèche (part funded by Sure Start St Anns and MHP’s Social Investment Foundation) that ensures that all young children have the opportunity to play in a safe and friendly environment.

Hill View offers After School clubs, Karate, Music sessions, Ante and Post natal classes as well as sexual health advice for young people.

We employ a Community Initiatives Officer, who promotes the work of the centre throughout the local community.  Nottingham City Council’s Play Development Workers ensure that play activity for eight to thirteen year olds is a high priority.

With Groundwork, we have redesigned the outside centre. It now has two basket ball courts, hoops, flood lights and seats for those who would rather be a spectator than participate!

The support of local resident’s volunteers has been invaluable, they have freely given their time to help support activities, organise activities, run lunch clubs, serve tea and help to ensure that the centre is clean and tidy.
