We put the accent on employment

Accent Group's 'Entry to Employment' scheme targets young people.

Accent Housing Group’s Entry to Employment scheme provides employment access training for 16 to18 year olds and for 19-24 year old with special needs.

We offer:

• Individual assessment and action plans
• Numeracy and literacy training
• Outdoor activities
• Employer and site visits
• A personal development programme
• Vocational qualification in construction
• Work experience
• Employment opportunities

Each programme is geared around the individual, providing tailored help where needed. A range of work opportunities is available through work tasters and placements. We also provide support with IT, communication skills, number skills and reading and writing skills.

So far, 69 learners have started on the programme, with 86% following through to the end.
