Wakefield and District Housing has teamed up with West Yorkshire Police to create a safer community.

Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) are working with West Yorkshire Police to create a safer community for their tenants and residents. Police officers and our staff are working together as equal partners to tackle anti social behaviour and build trust with local residents.

The police team works in our offices and together we work to win and sustain the confidence of local people. The objectives of the initiative are to tackle anti social behaviour within the Wakefield and district housing community, helping to reduce the fear of crime and improve the safety of elderly and vulnerable people.

The project supports victims of nuisance and assists the resettlement of offenders. For more information contact Juliet Craven, Assistant Director - Corporate Services, on 01924 304440.
